Mr. Luethje was concerned what that might entail and did not <br />want to have to build a special building, and he was assured that <br />was not the understanding. <br />Commissioner Macht believed it important to catalog the <br />findings and recalled that a few years back a box of pottery shards <br />was recovered and given to the educational department of the Center <br />for the Arts. The shards were used as models for the ceramic <br />artists in the area. <br />Chairman Adams preferred that the Historical Society give <br />input and felt that was their purpose. <br />Mr. Luethje wanted to know where the Historical Society would <br />store the artifacts until such time as a permanent site was <br />selected; he believed that some of the Historical Society members <br />had some artifacts in their homes for safekeeping. <br />Commissioner Eggert AMENDED her motion to <br />include all that had been discussed: namely, <br />that the developer shall not identify the <br />location of the middens with signage and that <br />Mr. DeBlois shall report to the Board the <br />recommendation concerning the artifacts. <br />Commissioner Ginn SECONDED the amended motion. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />ESTABLISHMENT OF A UTILITIES ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />DISCUSSION <br />(DELETED BY Commissioner Ginn) <br />SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />Chairman Adams announced that immediately upon adjournment, <br />the Board would reconvene sitting as the Commissioners of the Solid <br />Waste Disposal District. <br />Those Minutes are being prepared separately. <br />27 <br />December 10, 1996 Rn(;}. 99' :,;4)090 <br />
