114 o <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously approved <br />the revision to Section AM -601.1 of the <br />Administrative Policy Manual effective December 17, <br />1996; as recommended by staff. <br />SEA OAKS PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION - REQUEST TO USE <br />NORTH PARCEL OF WABASSO BEACH PARK FOR ACCESS TO <br />BEACH <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of December 11, 1996: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Davis, P.ez)�-9 <br />Public Works Director <br />FROM: Jeffrey R. Tabar <br />Coastal Engineer J7 <br />SUBJECT: Request Permission for Sea Oaks P.O.A. to use North Parcel of <br />Wabasso Beach Park for Access to Beach <br />RE: Letter from Sea Oaks to James W. Davis <br />DATE: December 11, 1996 <br />Sea Oaks P.O.A. is requesting permission to 'use Wabasso Beach Park to access the <br />beach in order to construct a sand fence along their Atlantic Ocean frontage.. The fence <br />will be installed in January/February, 1997 and will take approximately one (1) week. A <br />small truck/utility vehicle will be used. <br />County staff recommends that the Board approve the request subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1/ Any damage to the coastal dune line shall be repaired upon completion of <br />the project. <br />2/ All activities shall have minimum impact on native coastal vegetation and <br />any or <br />vegetation removed or damaged will be replaced. <br />3/ No equipment nor employee parking shall be on park property. <br />4/ All work shall be approved by County staff and a final inspection be <br />scheduled upon written notice from the contractor of the completed work. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved <br />the request of Sea Oaks Property Owners' <br />Association, subject to the conditions set forth in <br />the memorandum; pursuant to recommendations by <br />staff. <br />DECEMBER 17, 1996 108 <br />L __ <br />
