Some of the parameters that have to be reported are: <br />flows and loads, Chemical Biological Oxygen Demand <br />(CBOD5) on both the influent and effluent, Total <br />Suspended Solids (TSS) both on the influent and <br />effluent, pH, chlorine residual, bacteriological, <br />and nitrate concentration. <br />2. The Capacity Analysis Report. The Florida <br />Administrative Code, Chapter 62-600.405 requires <br />Public utilities to submit a Capacity Analysis <br />Report to FDEP. This must be submitted along with <br />the flow or capacity tracking and projected flow <br />capacity for the next service year. <br />3. Effluent and Reuse Operations Protocol. An <br />operations protocol or SOP's (which are standard <br />operating procedures) must be submitted annually to <br />FDEP to ensure that the procedures utilized by <br />Indian River County Utilities in the delivery of <br />reuse water for disposal to public access <br />facilities; such as, golf courses, parks, and <br />common areas, are in conformance with the permit <br />requirements and industry standards. <br />4. Operation and Maintenance Performance Reports. <br />These are evaluation reports for each treatment <br />unit in the treatment facilities. They must <br />indicate problems, deficiencies, and difficulties <br />which may have occurred, and the corrective action <br />taken within the required time frame during the <br />permit period. Also, the reports must describe the <br />physical condition, performance trends, and <br />treatment efficiencies of the facility, as well as <br />the preventive maintenance performed. <br />5. Groundwater Monitoring Reports.
