Prior to this request, there has not been as many as 1,200 <br />persons camping in two person tents at the Fairgrounds. As long as the License <br />conditions are met, staff does not anticipate any problems. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends approval for the use of the Fairgrounds for this fund raising event, <br />provided that the applicant enter into a standard County License Agreement, provide <br />proper insurance, and pay the appropriate fee. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Tippin, to approve staff's <br />recommendation as set forth in the memorandum. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Macht was concerned about the <br />sufficiency of the sanitary facilities at the Fairgrounds for this <br />event, and Public Works Director Jim Davis advised that he had been <br />assured that the support crew would be providing the necessary <br />portable sanitary facilities to the site. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />1996/97 ANNUAL ROAD RESURFACING PROGRAM <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of February 11, 1997.- <br />TO: <br />997: <br />TO: James E. After a visual inspection of the road <br />system, the Road and Bridge Superintendent is recommending the attached list of roads <br />for resurfacing. A few sections, such as a small portion of CR512 in front of the Sebastian <br />Jr. High School, were in critical need of resurfacing and the work has already been <br />accomplished. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends approval of the road resurfacing list for FY96/97.
