� � r <br />Tuesday, February 18, 1997 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in County Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero <br />Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, February 18, 1997, at 9:00 a.m. <br />Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; John W. Tippin, Vice <br />Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Caroline D. Ginn; and Kenneth R. Macht. <br />Also present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles <br />P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. Betty Komarisky <br />gave the invocation and Commissioner Macht led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGUNDA/UMERGENCY ITUMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested the addition of three items to the <br />agenda: 1) Proclamation Honoring Rosemary Cavanaugh on Her <br />Retirement (7.I.); 2) Appointment to Affordable Housing Advisory <br />Committee (13.A.1); and 3) Special License Plates Promoting <br />Adoption of Children (13.A.2). <br />Commissioner Ginn requested addition of Procedural Questions <br />Regarding Waste Conversion Industrial Park (INRIVCO) (13.D.), and <br />an Update on Non -Military Debris Removal from the Beach (11.B.). <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously <br />added the above items to the Agenda. <br />PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING FIRST ANIITIAL POWWOW <br />FEBRUARY 28 - MARCH 2, 1997 <br />Chairman Eggert read the following proclamation and presented <br />it to Jerry Summers and Richard Conway who were present as <br />representatives of the Treasure Coast Indian Association. <br />1 <br />February 18, 1997 <br />BOOK F ,� <br />
