� � r <br />Commissioner Ginn inquired why the bid was so low as compared <br />to the budgeted amount, and Public Works Director Jim Davis <br />explained that the low bidder (Summerlin Seven Seas, Inc.) <br />specializes in this type of wood work. Staff was familiar with <br />their work as they had also bid and performed the work on Donald <br />MacDonald Park. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously awarded <br />Bid #7026 to Summerlin Seven Seas, Inc. in the <br />amount of $78,450.00, as recommended in the <br />Memorandum. <br />J. Animal Control Ordinance - Schedule a Public Hearing for Pro <br />Amendment <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of March 5, 1997: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Terrence P. O'Brien, Assistant County Attorney's <br />DATE: March 5, 1997 <br />SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE - CH. 302 <br />The proposed ordinance amends Chapter 302 - Animal Control and Kennel <br />Regulations to reflect applicable state laws. <br />Staff requests permission to advertise the proposed amendment for public <br />hearing on April 1, 1997. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously scheduled <br />the public hearing on the proposed amendment for <br />April 1, 1997, as recommended in the Memorandum. <br />19 <br />March 11, 1997 BOOK I U F r <br />
