Tuesday, March 11, 1997 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session in County Commission Chambers, 1840 <br />25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 11, 1997, at <br />9:00 a.m. Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; John W. <br />Tippin, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Caroline D. Ginn; and Kenneth <br />R. Macht. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and called on <br />Commissioner Tippin to give the invocation. Chairman Eggert led <br />the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested the addition of 9.B.3. - Appeal by <br />Glen Billups Concerning Utility Bill. <br />Commissioner Adams requested the addition of 13.C. regarding <br />Aquaculture Use Zone. <br />Commissioner Macht requested the addition of three items: <br />1. Brief Report on 1997 Legislative Conference <br />sponsored by NACo in Washington, DC. ('13.E.1.) <br />2. Comment on County Funding of State Courts (13.E.2.) <br />3. HB 123 on Special Risk Categories (13.E.3.) <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously added <br />the above items to the Agenda. <br />1 <br />March 11, 1997 <br />BOOK0' PA6- <br />
