The site is located in an AE special flood hazard zone, base flood elevation <br />22.0 ft. N.G.V.D. In the attached letter from the applicant's engineer dated March 24, 1997, a <br />waiver of the cut and fill balance requirement is requested. The lot area is 1.06 acres. The <br />volume of the 100 year floodplain displaced by the proposed grading plan is estimated to be 1825 <br />cubic yards. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The waiver request has been reviewed by staff and appears to meet the criteria of Section <br />930.07(2)(d)4. of the Stormwater Management and Flood Protection Ordinance for lots located <br />in the Vero Lake Estates Municipal Services Taxing Unit. <br />Alternative No. 1 <br />Grant the cut and fill balance waiver based on the criteria of Section 930.07(2)(d)4. <br />Alternative No. 2 <br />Deny the cut and fill waiver.
