� � r <br />Alternative 1• <br />Approve the agreement with Smith Environmental Services and direct <br />the Chairman to execute the agreement on behalf of the Board. <br />Alternative 2• <br />Direct Staff to negotiate an agreement with another firm. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends Alternative 1, funding to be from account number <br />101-153-541-067.71 <br />Commissioner Adams questioned whether monitoring cameras are <br />being installed, and Environmental Chief Roland DeBlois advised <br />these are permanent survey markers for follow-up photography. <br />Commissioner Adams expressed her concern that no liability <br />insurance is being required, and County Engineer Roger Cain advised <br />he had discussed this with Risk Management and they advised a "hold <br />harmless" clause would be sufficient. <br />Commissioner Adams wanted to know whether any of the wood from <br />the trees being removed could be sold, and Mr. DeBlois stated he is <br />working with a representative of Georgia Pacific and will keep the <br />Board informed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously approved <br />the agreement with Smith Environmental Services and <br />authorized the Chairman to execute same, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />48TH COURT AND 28TH PLACE - WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM <br />EXTENSION - DRIVEWAYS, INC. <br />The Board -reviewed a Memorandum of March 24, 1997: <br />DATE: MARCH 24, 1997 <br />TO: JAMES E.
