Per the
County's Comprehensive Plan, the development is required to connect
to County water and sewer based on the proposed number of lots and
the proximity to existing water and sewer facilities.
An 8" water main is being constructed along the north side of 33rd
Street from 58th Avenue, west to the site. The water main will be
sized to allow future connections along 33rd Street. The County
proposes to enter into a Developer's Agreement (see attached) to
reimburse a portion of the construction cost, based on the amount
that can be recovered through line extension fees.
ANALYSIS
The developer proposes to tap into an existing 20" DIP water main
on 58th Avenue and construct approximately 3,700 linear feet of 8"
PVC water main, fire hydrants and isolation valves. The total
project cost is estimated to be $119,445.34. The total amount to
be reimbursed by the County is $71,437.50.
