May 6, 1997 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in Regular <br />Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Tuesday, May 6, 1997, at 9:00 a.m. Present were Carolyn K Eggert, Chairman; John W. <br />Tippin, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Kenneth R. Macht; and Caroline D. Ginn. Also <br />present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; and Patricia "PJ" Jones, Deputy Clerk <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Eggert called the meeting to order. <br />2. INVOCATION <br />Reverend Robert Smith of Trinity Episcopal Church gave the Invocation. <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Commissioner Eggert led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Chairman Eggert requested five additions to today's Agenda: <br />1. Item 5-C, Dodgertown School 0 Grade Presentation by <br />Brandon Flowers. <br />2. Item 11-H-7, South County Effluent Force Main Crossing <br />Failures. <br />3. Item 13-A-1, Law Library Lounge Plaque. <br />4. Item 13-A-2, Economic Development Tour, Chamber of Commerce. <br />5.
