UnderSheriff Jim Davis expressed thanks to all past and present law officers <br />and invited everyone to a Memorial Service to be held May 15, 1997 at 8:30 a.m., in <br />honor of Deputy Raczkoski, who was killed in the line of duty in September of 1986. <br />Commissioner Ginn will make a presentation of the Proclamation at the May 15"', <br />1997 Memorial Service. <br />5.B. Presentation by Peter Jurgel, Division President of Harris Sanitation to <br />Keep Indian River Beautiful President Dane Roberts Regarding the Great Florida <br />Cleanup Day <br />Peter Jurgel, Division President of Harris Sanitation, presented a check for <br />$900 to Dane Roberts of Keep Indian River Beautiful. <br />5.C. Dodgertown School 40 Grade Class Presentation —Brandon Flowers <br />Brandon Flowers presented 2 baskets of organically grown tomatoes to the <br />Commissioners. <br />Commissioner Adams expressed her pride in the children and commented that <br />they also have beans, sunflowers and other vegetables. They picked over 200 <br />tomatoes yesterday and have learned how to balance a checkbook and even have a <br />balance in their account. <br />6. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions to the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meetings of April 8, 1997 and April 15, 1997. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously approved the Minutes <br />of the Regular Meetings of April 8, 1997 and April 15, 1997, as <br />written. <br />7.
