ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board, by a 4-0 vote <br />(Commissioner Tippin being absent) adopted <br />Resolution 97-44 approving Traffic Control Devices <br />authorized by the Director of Public Works. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97- 44 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING TRAFFIC <br />CONTROL DEVICES AUTHORIZED BY THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has -directed the <br />director of public works to maintain a ledger reflecting the <br />traffic control devices in the unincorporated area (Section 312.18, <br />Indian River County Code); and <br />WHEREAS, the code requires this ledger to be presented to the <br />Board of County Commissioners for approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the ledger has been presented and is attached as <br />Exhibit "A" to this Resolution, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT: <br />The Board of County Commissioners hereby accepts and approves <br />the traffic control device ledger which is Exhibit "A" to this <br />resolution. <br />The resolution was moved to adoption by Commissioner <br />Adams and the motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Ginn , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as <br />follows: <br />Chairman Carolyn R. Eggert Aye <br />Vice Chairman John W. Tippin Absent <br />Commissioner Kenneth R.
