EzpRes : 25. 1997 <br />0 <br />Pa<.sc <br />June 10, 1997 <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida shall hold a <br />public hearing at which parties in interest and citizens shall <br />have an opportunity to be heard, in the County <br />Commission Chambers of the County Administration <br />Building located at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Tuesday, June 10, 1997, at 9:05 a.m. to consider <br />recommending the adoption of an Ordinance, addressing <br />various land development regulations; entitled: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FOLLOWING CHAPTERS <br />OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (LDRs): <br />CHAPTER 901, DEFINITIONS; CHAPTER 910, <br />CONCURRENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM; CHAPTER <br />911, ZONING; CHAPTER 912, SINGLE FAMILY <br />DEVELOPMENT; CHAPTER 954, OFF-STREET PARKING; <br />CHAPTER 971, REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC LAND <br />USE CRITERIA; AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF <br />CONFLICTING PROVISIONS, CODIFICATION, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Said ordinance, if adopted, would be effective in the <br />unincorporated area of the county. <br />Topics relating to the amendments contained in the <br />proposed ordinance include, but are not limited to, the <br />following: <br />1. Allowing non-commercial stables and kennels in the <br />AIR -1 zoning district as administrative permit uses, as <br />presently allowed in other single family residential <br />districts [Chapters 911, 9711. <br />2. Modifications to parking requirements for hotel/motel <br />uses, gas station/sales uses, and health and fitness <br />centers [Chapter 9541. <br />3. Modifications to update concurrency regulations in <br />conformance with comprehensive plan changes <br />approved in 1996 [Chapter 9101. <br />4.
