Winter Beach Road and SR A -1-A <br />=aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The intersection design plans for additional turn lanes at the <br />three subject intersections have been completed by the engineering <br />design firm, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. <br />The consultant has requested final payment and release of retainage <br />in the amount of $6,849.80. <br />Construction of improvements at intersection No. 3, Winter Beach <br />Road and SR A -1-A, were completed earlier this year. Improvements <br />at the two remaining intersections are expected to begin in late <br />1997 or early 1998. <br />RECOMM MATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends approval of final payment and release of retainage <br />in the amount of $6,849.80. <br />Funding from account numbers: 101-151-541-066.51 ($1,449.80) <br />101-151-541-067.43 ($3,000.00) <br />101-151=541-067.54 ($2,400.00) <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED by Commissioner <br />Macht, the Board unanimously approved final payment and release of <br />retainage in the amount of $6,849.80 to Kimley Horn and Associates, <br />Inc., as recommended by staff. <br />JULY 15, 1997 <br />
