RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends approval of the final payment in the amount of $10,752 subject to the <br />contractor completing the punch list items. Cox, P.EZC <br />Civil Engineer <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Request for Floodplain Cut and Fill Balance Waiver for Lot 9, Block 12, Vero <br />Lake Estates, Unit 2 <br />Project No. 97060139 <br />July 17, 1997 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />MGB Construction has submitted a building permit application for a single family residence on the <br />subject property. The site is located in an AE special flood hazard zone, base flood elevation 22.2 <br />ft. N.G.V.D. In the attached letter from the applicant's engineer dated June 6, 1997, a waiver of the <br />cut and fill balance requirement is requested. The lot area is 1.08 acres. The volume of the 100 year <br />floodplain displaced by the proposed grading plan is estimated to be 183 cubic yards. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The waiver request has been reviewed by'staff and appears to meet the criteria of Section <br />930.07(2)(d)4. of the Stormwater Management and Flood Protection Ordinance for lots located in <br />the Vero Lake Estates Municipal Services Taxing Unit. <br />Alternative No. I <br />Grant the cut and fill balance waiver based on the criteria of Section 930.07(2)(d)4. <br />AUGUST 5, 1997 <br />27 <br />6GJK 102 PACE, ,95 <br />
