L*#;kwkfldr.�P • "• <br />This is a request to rezone approximately 0.82 acres from CH, Heavy <br />Commercial District, to CG, General Commercial District. The <br />subject property is located on the north side of SR 60, between I- <br />95 and 98th Avenue (across from the Horizon Outlet Mall). The <br />purpose of this request is to secure the necessary zoning to permit <br />a convenience store on the subject property. <br />On July 9, 1997, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 4-0 to <br />recommend that the Board of County Commissioners approve this <br />request to rezone the subject property to CG. <br />While the subject property is zoned CH, Heavy Commercial District, <br />properties abutting it on all sides are zoned CG, General <br />Commercial District. The site contains one vacant 1 -story <br />commercial building. The extreme southeastern portion of the site, <br />as well as properties abutting the site on the east, west, and <br />north, are heavily wooded areas. To the south, across SR 60, land <br />west of 94th Drive is also heavily wooded. Properties east of 94th <br />Drive contain the Horizon Outlet Mall and several other commercial <br />buildings. <br />50 <br />August 12, 1997 <br />
