Tifton Golf Services Inc., -contractor for the <br />project has requested release of their retainage fee of $31,132.25. <br />Ron Garl Golf Course Design Inc., the original architect on both the Dunes and Lakes Courses, was <br />retained to design and consult on construction of this project as per our agreement. Their services <br />are complete and are also requesting payment of $18,921.59 as per the contract. <br />Listed below is the final total cost analysis of this project: <br />1. Tifton Golf Services $289,972.50 <br />2. Tifton Golf Services Change Order No. 1 21,350.00 <br />3. Purchase Order to Pifer, Inc. for irrigation materials 16,000.00 <br />4. DOT Sand ' 2,582.00 <br />5. Architect Consultant Fee (Ron Garl Course Design, Inc.) 18.921.59 <br />TOTAL EXPENSE $348,826.87 <br />TOTAL BUDGET $360,000.00 <br />Staff recommends Board approval to: <br />1. Release retainage to Tifton Golf Services of $31,132.25 <br />2. Release payment to consultant, Ron Garl Golf Course Design, Inc of $18,921.59 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board (by a 4-0 vote, Commissioner <br />Ginn absent) unanimously authorized the release of retainage in <br />the amount of $31,132.25 to Tifton Golf Services and authorized <br />the release of $18,921.59 to Ron Garl Golf Course Design, Inc., <br />as recommended by staff. <br />AUGUST 19, 1997 <br />
