Tabar, Coastal Enginee9L7"— <br />SUBJECT: Florida State Statutes Rule Changes/Revisions - Chapter 6213-33, <br />Coastal Armoring & Emergency Permitting - <br />Public Workshop <br />DATE: September 17, 1997 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />County staff has invited several federal & state agencies to participate in a public <br />workshop. The workshop will give all speakers the opportunity to discuss the rules, <br />procedures and intent associated with the new armoring regulations and the role their <br />agencies play in the permitting process. Staff has contacted the FDEP Bureau of Beaches <br />and Coastal Systems, FDEP Bureau of Protected Species Management and the US <br />Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service. <br />The workshop is scheduled for October 7, 1997 in the Board of County Commission <br />Chambers between 7-9 PM.
