TO: <br />DATE: <br />SUBJECT: <br />FROM: <br />Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />September 17, 1997 <br />RESTRICT PROCEEDS FROM SALE OF BUILDINGS <br />Joseph A Baird <br />OMB Director <br />Earlier this fiscal year Indian River County sold the old Courthouse, Courthouse Annex <br />and State Attorney's office. A total of $769,002.43 was received as revenue in the General <br />Fund from the sale of these buildings. Staff would like to restrict these proceeds for future <br />Administrative Building needs. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners restrict the $769,002.43 from the <br />sale of buildings for the use of future Administrative Building needs <br />GENERAL FUND -SALE OF BUILDINGS PROCEEDS <br />001-000-364-039.00 <br />COURTHOUSE -BRACKET $249,900.00 <br />COURTHOUSE ANNEX OLDE TOWNE $252,100.00 <br />STATE ATTORNEYS OFFICE-MARINARO $267,002.43 <br />TOTAL PROCEEDS $769,002.43 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously restricted the <br />$769,002.43 proceeds from the sale of the old Courthouse, <br />Courthouse Annex, and State Attorney's Office, for the use of <br />future Administrative Building needs, as recommended in the <br />Memorandum. <br />28 <br />SEPTEMBER 23, 1997 <br />
