Sean McGuire, P.E. <br />Project Engineer <br />SUBJECT: <br />West Wabasso Park Improvements <br />Project No. 9428 <br />Change Order No. 3 <br />Pay Request No. 7 Final Release <br />DATE: <br />November 17, 1997 <br />Construction services and submission of close-out documentation for <br />the improvements at West Wabasso Park have been completed. Change <br />Order No. 3 is proposed to decrease the project cost by $421.87. <br />This is to pay for the expense of repairing the asphalt roadway <br />that was damaged by construction activity. Repairs will be <br />accomplished by County force-, and an annual bid contractor. <br />Chilberg Construction, Inc. is requesting Final Payment and Release <br />of Retainage in the amount of $25,449.48. <br />Staff recommends that the Board approve Change Order No. 3 <br />decreasing the contract price to $258,291.66 and the Final Payment <br />and Release of Retainage to Chilberg Construction, Inc..
