County Tax Deed Application Costs <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of November 21, 1997: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Lea R. Keller, CLA, County Attorney's Office <br />�� <br />THROUGH: Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: November 21, 1997 <br />RE: COSTS FOR COUNTY TAX DEED APPLICATIONS <br />On June 17, 1997, the Board approved the County paying certain costs to the Tax <br />Collector in connection with the sale of certain tax certificates that were eligible for <br />tax deed applications. <br />We were recently advised by the Clerk that, as part of the process of transferring <br />the title to the County, the sum of $2,867.12' is due on ten tax certificates (as <br />shown on the attached itemizations). <br />Attachments <br />Requested Action: Request that the Board approve the County paying the <br />requested amount to the Clerk so that the tax deed sale may proceed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved the <br />payment of $2,867.12 to the Clerk of the Court so the tax deed <br />sale may proceed, as requested. <br />15 <br />December 2, 1997 <br />BOOK U FSG <br />
