r 1 <br />BOOK 104 PAGE 06 <br />Commissioner Adams thanked Chairman Eggert on behalf of the Commissioners for <br />all her leadership and they appreciated her keeping them on the straight and narrow. They <br />then presented her with a very beautiful large plant, for which Chairman Eggert expressed <br />her thanks and wondered if it would fit in her new (small) office. <br />Chairman Eggert opened the floor to nominations for Chairman of the Board of <br />County Commissioners for 1998. <br />Commissioner Adams NOMINATED Commissioner John <br />Tippin; SECONDED BY Commissioner Ginn. <br />There were no other nominations. <br />The Chairman directed the Clerk to cast a UNANIMOUS <br />BALLOT for Commissioner John W. Tippin for Chairman of <br />the Board of County Commissioners for 1998. <br />Commissioner Eggert passed the gavel to Chairman Tippin, who assumed the Chair. <br />Chairman Tippin thanked the Commissioners for the privilege and stated he would <br />work hard to try to keep things orderly and productive and to earn their confidence. <br />3.B. ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN <br />Chairman Tippin opened the floor to nominations for Vice Chairman of the Board <br />of County Commissioners for 1998. <br />Commissioner Eggert NOMINATED Commissioner Kenneth <br />R.
