C/I M.0 The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Flor- Ida, will consider a proposal to amend its Comprehensive Plan to change the use of land within the unincorporated portions of Indian River County. A public hearing on the proposals will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 1998 at 9:05 a.m. in the County Commission Chambers of the .County Administration Building, located at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida. At this public hearing the Board of County Commissioners will consider authorizing transmittal of this amendment to fhe State Department of Community Affairs for Its re- view. The proposed amendment Is Included In a proposed ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COM- PREHENSIVE PLAN BY CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIG- NATION FOR: 1. +/-28.4 ACRES LOCATED BETWEEN 1-95 AND THE HORI- ZON OUTLET CENTER, FROM C/I TO C-1; AND 2. +/-28.4 ACRES, LOCATED APPROXIMATELY ONE HALF MILE SOUTH OF SR 60 AND APPROXIMATELY ONE EIGHTH MILE WEST OF 1-95, FROM M-1 TO C/I; , AND PROVIDING CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND EF- FECTIVE DATE. Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearing regarding the approval of these proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment The plan amendment application may be Inspected by the public at the Community Development Department located on the second floor of the County Administration Building located at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. The proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the office of the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida. NO FINAL ACTION ADOPTING THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE WILL BE TAKEN AT THIS MEETING. Anyone who may wish to appeal any decision which may be made at this meeting will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
