INDIANRIVER COUNTYANNUAL LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL <br />REPORT, FISCAL YEAR 1996-97 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of April 6, 1998: <br />TO: THE HONORABLE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />DATE: APRIL 6,1998 <br />SUBJECT: ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT <br />FROM: EDWIN X FRY, JR., FINANCE DIRECTOR% <br />G <br />Section 218.32, Florida Statutes, requires that each unit of local government submit a financial report <br />covering its operations during the previous fiscal year. The report must be submitted within 45 days <br />after the completion of the audit report, but no later than 12 months after the end of the fiscal year. <br />The Indian River County Annual Local Government Financial Report for the fiscal year 1996 -1997 <br />has been prepared and is ready to be submitted to the Department of Banking and Finance in <br />Tallahassee. The report is to be signed by the Chief Financial Officer and the Chairman of the Board <br />of County Commissioners. <br />I respectfully request the Board of County Commissioners authorize the Chairman to sign the <br />County's Annual Local Government Financial Report for the fiscal year 1996 - 1997. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Adams, the Board <br />unanimously authorized the Chairman to sign the <br />County's Annual Local Government Financial <br />Report for the Fiscal Year 1996-1997. <br />APRIL 14, 1998 <br />COPY OF THE FINANCIAL REPORT IS ON <br />FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />• <br />
