MISCELLANEOUS BUDGETAMENDMENT #16 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of April 15, 1998: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: April 15, 1998 <br />SUBJECT: MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 016 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. The State of Florida, Department of Labor, has charged Indian River County for <br />Unemployment Compensation payments to former employees. A budget amendment is <br />required to reflect these payments. (Memo attached from Interim Personnel Director, <br />Tom Bisaillon). <br />2. The Indian River County School Board has received and approved a shared services <br />Network Grant which they passed through $6,000 of it to Indian River County for a <br />Children Services Network Facilatator. The position will sunset on September 30,1998. <br />3. On February 10, 1998, the Board of County Commissioners approved the 1997/98 <br />Emergency Services State and Local Assistance (SLA) Grant in the amount of $32,401. <br />The attached entry appropriates the funds. <br />4. On January 14, 1997 the Board of County Commissioners approved extending Barber <br />Street between Sebastian Ii'ighlands and U.S. 1 at a cost of approximately $50,000. The <br />attached entry appropriates funds. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached budget amendment. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously approved Miscellaneous Budget <br />Amendment #16, as recommended by staff. <br />APRIL 21, 1998 <br />-13- <br />• <br />
