Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />Pvi�ON HEAD CONCURRENCE: <br />Obert XvILKeating, <br />Community Development virectc/ <br />'41S <br />FROM: Stan Boling, AICP <br />Planning Director <br />DATE: April 14, 1998 <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Dates for Two Board Hearings to Consider LDR Amendments <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County <br />Commissioners at its regular meeting of April 21, 1998. <br />Several LDR amendment proposals have been initiated over the last several months that must now <br />be considered by the Board. Because some of the amendments would affect the listed uses allowed <br />in certain zoning districts, two public hearings are required <br />To minimize the number of required hearings, staff limits the number of times the LDRs are <br />amended. This has been done by holding proposed LDR amendments until a sufficient number of <br />amendments exists to process and consider at one time. <br />This set of proposed LDR amendments relates to several issues, including the following: <br />1. Codification and modification of SR 60 Corridor Plan requirements (staff & Board initiated) <br />2. Relationship between zoning districts and land use designations (staff initiated) <br />3. Incidental to development mining exemption (filed by Bent Pine Golf Club, IncJBruce <br />Barkett, Attorney) <br />4.
