r <br />500K F',U"1 <br />Planning Director Stan Boling advised that this is the first of two public hearings <br />regarding ten different proposed LDR amendments. The purpose of this meeting is to have <br />input from the public and for staff to receive direction from the Board. Changes will be <br />brought to the next public hearing which will be held on May 19, 1998. He suggested that <br />they consider the amendments one at a time following a brief presentation of each one. <br />Chairman Tippin announced that the public will be invited to speak on each item and <br />that Vice Chairman Macht's absence was excused as he was on County business attending <br />a SHOCOP seminar in Orlando. <br />1. Proposed Amendment: Incidental to Development Minim <br />Exemption sled by Bent - Pine Golf Club, InaBruce Barkett, <br />Attorneyj <br />Director Boling reviewed the information and recommendations contained in the <br />memorandum above concerning this proposed amendment. <br />Chairman Tippin asked if the Commissioners had any questions; there were none. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in <br />this matter. There being none, he closed the public hearing. <br />There was CONSENSUS to agree with staffs recommendation. <br />2.Proposed Amendment: Bed and Breakfast Uses (fal� v Mr. <br />and Mrs. Redstone/John Dean, Architect) <br />Director Boling reviewed the information and recommendations contained in the <br />memorandum above concerning this proposed amendment. <br />Chairman Tippin asked if the Commissioners had any questions; there were none. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in <br />this matter. <br />May 4,1998 <br />14 <br />
