Finney, <br />County Right of Way Agent <br />SUBJECT: 66t" Avenue Right of Way Acquisitions <br />Petersons Grove Parcel <br />DATE: May 18, 1998 <br />Twenty five feet of additional right-of-way is required on the west <br />side of 66"x' Avenue, north of 33rd Street for the shoulder <br />stabilization and to separate the grove drainage from the road <br />drainage system. <br />The property owners have executed a contract at the appraised value <br />of $16,000 per acre for land($11,840)and $6,800 for citrus trees <br />that have to be removed in the Temporary Construction Easement. <br />The contract price is $18,640 for the .74 acre 25, wide x 1289.21 <br />parcel. The Public Works staff and Road and Bridge Division agrees <br />to and considers the terms of the addendum reasonable. <br />Staff requests the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />$18,640 purchase and authorize the Chairman to execute the <br />contract. <br />Funding to be from Sales Tax 315-214-541-066.12. <br />Contract, two originals with addendum <br />Map of Parcel and Area <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously approved (4-0, <br />Commissioner Eggert absent) the $18,640 purchase from Fred <br />H. Peterson and Edward P.
