Make no mistake, FAC's members are the key to our victory in <br />Novemberl <br />The purpose of this memo, is to enlist your help in organizing the Revision 7 campaign <br />in your county. Teams are being created to assist our campaign staff in a strategy in <br />37 counties. In the small counties, a key contact will be identified. <br />In collaboration with the political committee staff, the teams will be asked to assist in: <br />I Identifying the Key Staff Contact for the county and the Lead Commissioner, <br />I Briefing and involving other county commissioners and key staff as the <br />campaign progresses. <br />d Developing and implementing a local campaign strategy; <br />I Research and data collection on the issue; <br />I Serving as liaison to local media and key community groups and leaders; <br />I Identifying county resources for delivering our message to voters and to <br />county employees; <br />Mostly, we will look to you to provide creative ideas and insight as to what will work <br />best in your county. <br />As a first step, please return the enclosed form to confirm who will be the Key <br />Staff Contact and the Lead County Commissioner. These people are asked to <br />participate in an orientation conference call on Wednesday, July 15, at 9:00 am. <br />est. To join the call, dial Suncom 994-1711 or, without Suncom, dial (850) 414- <br />1711. <br />Second, there is a form enclosed for identifying the county team. Please note that it is <br />important to include at least the following staff: <br />County Administrator <br />County Lobbyist <br />County Public Information Officer <br />Obviously, we invite you to add others to your team as you deem appropriate including <br />key community leaders who may be of assistance. <br />This campaign represents a dramatic challenge for our Association. Its implications are <br />far reaching.
