Make no mistake, FAC's members are the key to our victory in Novemberl The purpose of this memo, is to enlist your help in organizing the Revision 7 campaign in your county. Teams are being created to assist our campaign staff in a strategy in 37 counties. In the small counties, a key contact will be identified. In collaboration with the political committee staff, the teams will be asked to assist in: I Identifying the Key Staff Contact for the county and the Lead Commissioner, I Briefing and involving other county commissioners and key staff as the campaign progresses. d Developing and implementing a local campaign strategy; I Research and data collection on the issue; I Serving as liaison to local media and key community groups and leaders; I Identifying county resources for delivering our message to voters and to county employees; Mostly, we will look to you to provide creative ideas and insight as to what will work best in your county. As a first step, please return the enclosed form to confirm who will be the Key Staff Contact and the Lead County Commissioner. These people are asked to participate in an orientation conference call on Wednesday, July 15, at 9:00 am. est. To join the call, dial Suncom 994-1711 or, without Suncom, dial (850) 414- 1711. Second, there is a form enclosed for identifying the county team. Please note that it is important to include at least the following staff: County Administrator County Lobbyist County Public Information Officer Obviously, we invite you to add others to your team as you deem appropriate including key community leaders who may be of assistance. This campaign represents a dramatic challenge for our Association. Its implications are far reaching.
