Napier, SRPA, SRA <br />Right -of -Way Agent <br />SUBJECT: 43'd Avenue Right -of -Way Acquisition <br />43rd Avenue Improvements/8th Street to 261" Street <br />Parcel No. 134, Jeraldine Lawrence <br />DATE: July 13, 1998 <br />Five feet (5') of additional right-of-way plus a comer -clip is needed on 43'd Avenue for road <br />and drainage improvements in conjunction with the above referenced project. <br />The property owner has executed a contract at a price of $8.00 per square foot for the C -G <br />zoned land. This price per square foot is comparable to other similar commercially zoned <br />parcels the County has purchased within the market area based upon appraisals or <br />evaluations. <br />The contract price is $6,615.68 based on a total of 826.96 square feet determined by the <br />legal description. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff requests the Board of County Commissioners approve the $6,615.68 purchase and <br />authorize the Chairman to execute the contract. <br />Funding to be from Account # 315-214-541-066.12. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously approved the $6,615.68 purchase from <br />Jeraldine Lawrence and authorized the Chairman to <br />execute the contract, as recommended by staff. <br />CONTRACT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />July 21, 1998 <br />I <br />
