Commissioner Adams agreed the advertising costs are excessive and felt the Agenda <br />should be publicized on the computer- Internet. <br />Commissioner Ginn felt it is money well spent and believed it is absolutely essential <br />to continue the publication. <br />After discussion, it was agreed that staff should attempt to negotiate a more equitable <br />cost with the Press -Journal. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Eggert, the Board, by a 4-1 vote <br />(Commissioner Adams opposed) approved <br />continuation of the publication of the weekly <br />Agenda in both newspapers and televising the <br />meetings, and authorized staff to attempt to negotiate <br />a reduced price for the publications. <br />13.B.2. BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE IMMEDIATELY <br />FOLLOWING BUDGET HEARINGS <br />Commissioner Macht suggested that, since the meeting following the budget hearings <br />is very brief, it be cancelled in order to give staff a chance to digest the budget and use their <br />time more productively. <br />General discussion followed and no action was taken. <br />13.13.3.
