Sean McGuire, P.E. _ <br />Project Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Wabasso Causeway Park Beautification Project <br />FDOT Grant and Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement <br />DATE: August 31, 1998 <br />DESCRIPTTON AND CONDITTONA <br />The Florida Highway Beautification Grant Council has selected this <br />project to receive a grant in the amount of $137,791.54. This <br />amount is intended' to be a 50% match to our contribution of <br />$137,791.54, for a total project cost of $275,583.08. The attached <br />"Highway Beautification Grant and Maintenance Memorandum of <br />Agreement" must be signed and returned to the Florida Department of <br />Transportation by November 5, 1998 in order to receive the grant. <br />Reimbursement may be requested from the Florida Department of <br />Transportation after completion of the project. <br />RECO=NDATIONS AND FCMING <br />Staff recommends that the Board authorize the Chairman to execute <br />the Agreement. <br />Funding will be from account #315-210-572-068.09 <br />BT=HM:1T <br />Highway Beautification Grant and Maintenance Memorandum of <br />Agreement <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously (4-0, Vice <br />Chairman Macht absent) approved the Highway Beautification <br />Grant and Maintenance Memorandum. of Agreement and <br />authorized the Chairman to execute same, as recommended in <br />the Memorandum. <br />PARTIALLY EXECUTED HIGHWAY BEAUTIFICATION GRANT AND <br />MAINTENANCE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT ON FILE <br />September 8, 1998 <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />48 <br />
