Sean McGuire, P.EL14 <br />Project Engineer <br />SUBJECT: <br />Gifford Park Picnic Pavilion <br />Project No. 9424A <br />Change Order No. 1 <br />DATE: August 28, 1998 <br />Change Order No. 1 to the Gifford Park Picnic Pavilion Project <br />(current contract is $21,800.00) is proposed to increase the <br />project cost to $27,800.00. The extra cost of $6,000.00 is to <br />construct four (4) new concrete picnic tables inside the pavilion. <br />Ten (10) days of additional time will be needed, after this Change <br />Order is authorized, to complete the work. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends that the Board approve Change Order No. 1, <br />increasing the contract price to $27,800.00. <br />Funding is from Account #315-210-572-068.03. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />Change Order No. 1 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously (4-0, Vice <br />Chairman Macht absent) approved Change Order No. 1 with <br />Jim Wright Construction increasing the contract price by $6,000 <br />for a new total of $27,800, as recommended in the <br />Memorandum. <br />September 8, 1998 <br />CHANGE ORDER ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />49 <br />BOOK 100 Pv"F i' J.5 <br />
