A public hearing <br />on the proposals will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 1998 at <br />9:05 a.m. in the County Commission Chambers of the County <br />Administration Building, located at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, <br />Florida. At this public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners <br />will make a final decision whether to amend the county's <br />Comprehensive Plan. The proposed amendments are included in the <br />proposed ordinances entitled: <br />1. , _ AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT <br />OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY CHANGING THE LAND <br />USE DESIGNATION FOR ±2.10 ACRES, LOCATED AT THE <br />SOUTHEAST CORNER OF 45TH STREET AND 24TH <br />AVENUE, FORM M-2, MEDIUM -DENSITY RESIDENTIAL -2 <br />(UP TO 10 UNITS/ACRE) TO C/I, COMMERCIAL/ <br />INDUSTRIAL; AND PROVIDING CODIFICATION, SEVER- <br />ABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE; AND <br />2. AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT <br />OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY CHANGING THE LAND <br />USE DESIGNATION FOR ±7.07 ACRES, LOCATED <br />APPROXIMATELY 700 FEET NORTH OF 57TH STREET, <br />BETWEEN OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY AND U.S. 1, FROM L-2, <br />LOW RESIDENTIAL -2 (UP TO 6 UNITS/ACRE) TO C/I, <br />COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL; AND PROVIDING <br />CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public <br />hearing regarding the. approval. of these proposed Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendments. <br />The plan amendment application may be inspected by the <br />public at the Community Development Department located on the <br />second floor of the County Administration Building located at 1840 <br />.25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, between the hours of 8:36 a.m. and <br />5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
