Box U <br />4. Authorize Karlin Daniel & Associates to auction off the Parcels to the highest bidder in accordance with <br />Florida Statutes. <br />S. Authorize Board Chairman to execute an auction and Purchase agreement in advance of the sale as <br />has been dote on past real property that was auctioned. This will facilitate closing on the property at the <br />auction site on the day of sale. <br />. Commissioner Adams requested authorization to trade the Filbert Street property for <br />the Barber Street .fire station property, and County Administrator Chandler believed this <br />would be a good cooperative venture. <br />County Attorney Vitunac noted there are 2 fire station properties in Sebastian, and <br />Commissioner Adams asked staff to work that out. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board, by <br />a 4-0 vote (Commissioner Eggert being absent), <br />unanimously declared the 3 parcels surplus; <br />instructed staff to trade Parcel 1 to the City of <br />Sebastian for the fire station properties; and <br />authorized the remaining properties to be sold at a <br />public auction under a "reserve format" with a gross <br />reserve figure of $30,000; authorized Karlin Daniel <br />& Associates to auction the remaining parcels to the <br />highest bidder in accordance with Florida Statutes; <br />and authorized the Chairman to execute an Auction <br />and Purchase Agreement in advance of the sale as <br />has been done on past real property that was <br />auctioned to facilitate closing on the property at the <br />auction site on the day of sale; as recommended by <br />staff. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />OCTOBER 27, 1998 <br />
