BOOK � . 0 Pr?%E 58 <br />SUBJECT: As -Built Resolution & Assessment Roll for Paving and Drainage Improvements to: <br />101 sT AVENUE BETWEEN 79TH STREET & 87TH STREET IN VERO LAKE <br />ESTATES SUBDIVISION - IRC PROJECT NO. 9309 <br />DATE: October 27, 1998 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The paving of the above road has been completed. The final assessment is as follows: <br />Preliminary Estimates <br />Final Cost <br />MSTU $232,353.59 -92.32%+ <br />MSTU $213,152.73 -91.68%+ <br />Special Assessment $ 19,334.74 - 7.68%+ <br />Special Assessment $ 19.334.74 - 8.32%+ <br />Total $251,688.33 1 <br />Total $232,487.47 <br />The final assessment roll has been prepared and is ready to be delivered to the Clerk to the Board. <br />Assessments are to be paid within 90 days or in 2 equal installments, the first to be made twelve <br />months from the due date and subsequent payments to be due yearly from the due date at an interest <br />rate of 8'/z%, established by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final costs are less than the preliminary costs, the final cost allocation would be to access <br />the benefitted owners $2.00 per front foot, deduct the difference from the MSTU account. <br />Funding Source <br />MSTU $213,152.73 <br />Special Assessment $ 19.334.74 <br />TOTAL $232,487.47 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Account No. 185-214-541-066.51 <br />Account No. 111-244-541-03 5.51 <br />It is recommended that the final assessment roll and the "As -Built Resolution" for the paving of the <br />above mentioned road be approved by the Board of County Commissioners and that it be transferred <br />to the Tax Collector for billing and collection. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1) As -Built Resolution <br />2) Final Assessment Roll (Exhibit "A") <br />3) Final Costs <br />November 10, 1998 <br />
