MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />BY Commissioner Adams, to approve staff's recommendation. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Adams asked Public Works Director -James Davis <br />to confine that staff is still looking at the same time element, and Director Davis assured her <br />that staff was on track with the schedule and, as a matter of fact, ahead of schedule. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion <br />carried unanimously. (Approved the prioritized short-list in the <br />Memorandum and authorized staff to proceed with contract <br />negotiations with the first -ranked firm, Zep Construction, Inc., <br />as recommended in the Memorandum.) <br />11.H. Survey work is assigned to <br />the firms on a rotational basis for contracts in excess of $10,000.00 and on a <br />quotation basis for projects under $10,000.00. Staff now would like to emend <br />these contracts for an additional period of two years.
