0 <br />On November 24, 1998, the Economic Development Council voted 12-1 to recommend that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the OEDP Annual Report (1997-98) and direct staff to <br />forward the annual report to the Economic Development Administration (EDA). <br />The OEDP Annual Report addresses the period from July 1, 1997 to June 30, 1998. This report <br />outlines the progress that the county made during that period in implementing the OEDP. This <br />report also discusses changes in the economy, new potentials and problems relating to economic <br />development, the goal, objectives and policies of the OEDP, and the OEDP implementation matrix. <br />Based on the analysis conducted, staff and the Economic Development Council recommend that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the attached Overall Economic Development Plan (OEDP) <br />Annual Report and direct staff to forward the ammual report to the Economic Development <br />Administration (EDA). <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously approved the Overall Economic <br />Development Plan (OEDP) Annual Report and <br />directed staff to forward the annual report to the <br />Economic Development Administration (EDA), as <br />recommended by staff. <br />COPY OF REPORT WILL BE ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />WHEN EXECUTED AND RECEIVED <br />7.D.
