I <br />BOOK 108 PAGE 5J9 <br />Commissioner Ginn recommended that staff get some advice in determining color <br />and trim colors so the buildings look nice when the job is completed. <br />General Services Director Tom Frame had walked the perimeter of the buildings and <br />noted that they consisted of a lot of different textures and the Administration Building has <br />had many additions. He thought they needed professional advice. <br />Vice Chairman Adams questioned why staff did not recommend the low bid for each <br />building instead of the combined low base bid. She encouraged the use of the two <br />companies with the lowest bid for each building. <br />Director Frame asked the Board to defer the matter for a week so he would be better <br />prepared to address their concerns. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board Unanimously tabled the matter <br />for a week. <br />Z.H. Frame, General Services Director <br />Subject: Assignment of Concession License in Administration Building <br />Consent Agenda <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On January 3, 1995, the Board of County Commissioners approved a license agreement for the operation <br />of the "County Food Service Concession" with Lillian Ni Barker. The selection was the result of a Request <br />for Proposals (RFP) solicited by Indian River County. <br />Subsequently, the concession was assigned with approval of the Board to Salvatore Pecoraro on May 13, <br />1997. Then on October 20, 1998, the Board approved an assignment from Mr. Pecoraro to Mr. Allyn <br />Withee. <br />MARCH 9,1999 <br />18 <br />
