(Ordinance #99-005 adopted subject to <br />conditions as set forth in the recommendation of the above <br />memorandum.) <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99- 0 5 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM <br />RM -8 AND A-1 TO PDTND FOR APPROXIMATELY 602.99 ACRES OF LAND <br />GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH OF SR 60, NORTH OF 8'T" STREET, <br />BETWEEN 661 AVENUE AND 821 AVENUE; AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, <br />AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning, is <br />consistent with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County, and the county land development <br />regulations, including but not limited to the Planned Development (PD) Process and Standards for <br />Development chapter, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this <br />rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that the Zoning of the property situated in Indian River County, and legally <br />described in EXHIBIT A (attached) be changed from RM -8 and A-1 to PDTND, and that the PD <br />conceptual plan (see EXHIBIT B, attached) will control and regulate development on the subject <br />land. <br />MARCH 9, 1999 <br />Fi7 <br />BOOK 1U pAGF �� <br />
