VICE CHAIRMAN ADAMS - FUNDING FOR 4TH OF <br />JULY FIREWORKS (SEBASTIAN & VERO BEACH) <br />Vice Chairman Adams advised that she had been contacted by the Lions Club of <br />Sebastian who were again requesting funding from Indian River County for the fireworks <br />display on 4th of July. She wished to verify that it been included in the current fiscal year's <br />budget. <br />Commissioner Ginn interjected that the City of Vero Beach should also be funded as <br />in past years. <br />Budget Director Joseph A. Baird advised that the funding had not been included in <br />the budget and asked for direction. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously granted $2,500 to <br />Sebastian and $2,500 to Vero Beach for 4th of July fireworks <br />displays, as has been done in previous years and approved a <br />budget amendment for same. <br />14.A. EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT <br />The Chairman announced that immediately upon adjournment of the meeting the <br />Board would reconvene sitting as the Board of Commissioners for the Emergency Services <br />District. <br />Those Minutes are being prepared separately. <br />14. B.
