May 25, 1999 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in Regular <br />Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25' Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Tuesday, May 25, 1999. Present were Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Fran B. Adams, Vice <br />Chairman; Caroline D. Ginn; Ruth Stanbridge; and John W. Tippin. Also present were <br />James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />Ridgely, Deputy Clerk <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. <br />2. 11WOCATION <br />Commissioner Tippin delivered the invocation. <br />3. PRESENTATIONBY TREASURE COAST REFUSE ANDHARRIS <br />SANITATION TO VICE CHAIRMAN ADAMS AS THE WINNER OF <br />THE 1999 GREAT FLORIDA CLEANUP CHALLENGE - KEEP <br />INDIAN RIVER BEAUTIFUL <br />Pat Harris, Keep Indian River Beautiful, thanked the Commissioners for their <br />participation and called on Sara Hayes and Richard Conte for their presentations. <br />Richard Conte, Treasure Coast Refuse, congratulated Vice Chairman Adams on <br />winning the challenge again this year.
