BOOK 109 <br />Sara Hayes, Harris Sanitation, thanked all who participated and presented Vice <br />Chairman Adams with a promise for a check for $600 for the charity of her choice. <br />Vice Chairman Adams thanked all the IB students who helped and were present in the <br />audience. She described their enthusiasm and the types of items they had collected, such as <br />174 tires, an old refrigerator, 2 dishwashers, and a golf cart. <br />Susan Lovelace, a teacher from Sebastian River High School International <br />Baccalaureate Program, introduced two of the students from the program. <br />Megan Carter and Adam Jones of the IB Program - Class of 2000, presented Vice <br />Chairman Adams a plaque in appreciation for her support of the IB Program. <br />Vice Chairman Adams thanked the students and wished them good luck on their trip <br />to London. <br />Commissioners Tippin and Stanbridge commented ontheir experiences onthe cleanup <br />day and Commissioner Tippin lamented that of the 30 tires his group collected, none of them <br />fit his pickup truck. <br />6.A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - MAY 4,1999 <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or corrections to the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of May 4, 1999. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board unanimously approved the <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 4, 1999, as written and <br />distributed. <br />6.B. APPROVAL OF NENUTES - MAY 11, 1999 <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or corrections to the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of May 11, 1999.
