F, <br />BOOK AJ F'." <br />7J4 <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard <br />regarding Winter Beach Cemetery. There being none, the Chairman closed the public <br />hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Adams, the Board <br />unanimously tentatively approved the purchase of <br />additional land to expand the site. <br />BEACH RESTORATION <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard <br />regarding Beach Restoration. <br />Bill Glynn, 1802 Barefoot Place, President of North Beach Civic Association and <br />Summerplace Homeowners Improvement Association congratulated Coastal Engineer Jeff <br />Tabar and County staff for one of the finest proposed programs seen in the State of Florida. <br />He also thanked Commissioners Adams and Ginn for their input on the project and supported <br />the recommendation. <br />John Burns, 1811 East Sandpointe Place, President of South Beach Property Owners <br />Association, also supported the recommendation regarding funding. <br />Peter Fall% 12930 North AlA, asked the Board to vote for the recommendation. <br />Ralph Sexton, 8005 371 Street, President of Save Our Shores, congratulated <br />Commissioner Adams for her wisdom and courage and thanked JeffTabar for an outstanding <br />job. He requested that the Board support the recommendation. <br />• <br />Penny Chandler, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, also expressed <br />her appreciation for the fine work done by Commissioner Adams and Mr. Tabar and <br />recommended support of the recommendation. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone else wished to be heard regarding this matter.
