He believed it would not be in the best interest of Indian River County to encourage <br />developments such as this with 50 -foot lots. He asked the Board to deny the request. <br />Hurley Rountree, 6566 1' Street SW, stated that he and his wife own property on 3 <br />sides of the proposed development and he expressed his approval of the plan. <br />Sherry Jones, 5766 9' Street SW, felt the proposed finger lake is no more than a wide <br />ditch and they will still have a multi -family project on their east property line. She believed <br />that this development would benefit no one but the developer. She asked the Board to deny <br />the request. <br />Ellen Arnsmeier, 5768 9* Street SW, believed the lakes would be filled with weeds <br />and/or become swamps, depending on the weather.
