Harris, President, Gifford Progressive <br />League tp Jim Davis dated Sept. 14, 1998 <br />DATE: August 4, 1999 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Gifford Progressive League, at the request of Joe Idlette, jr. <br />(4730 58th Avenue) , has approved an additional street light along <br />58th Avenue to be funded by the Gifford Street Light District. <br />Staff has investigated the request, and is of the opinion that a <br />light across from 4730 58th Avenue will be consistent with the <br />Gifford Street Light District Policy. The cost of the light is <br />approximately $150/year. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The alternatives presented are as follows: <br />Alternative No. 1 <br />Approve the request and instruct FPL to install the <br />light. <br />Alternative No. 2 <br />Deny the request.: <br />RECOMIENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff -recommends Alternative No. 1 whereby the light is <br />approved.
