THOMAS FUND, ING ) <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of August 17, 1999: <br />TO: The Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: tt/ William G. Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: August 17, 1999 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Accepting a Right -Of -Way Dedication and Cancelling <br />Taxes on Acquired Property <br />A Resolution has been prepared for the purpose of accepting a right-of-way <br />dedication and cancelling any delinquent or current taxes which may exist on the <br />following property acquired by Indian River County for public purpose: <br />Right-of-way along 41st Street acquired from Saint Thomas Fund, Inc., a <br />Florida corporation, which property is fully described in that Quit -Claim <br />Deed recorded in Official Record Book 1288, Pages 1617-1618, Public <br />Records of Indian River County, Florida. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the <br />Resolution accepting the right-of-way dedication and cancelling certain taxes <br />upon publicly owned lands, and the Clerk to send a certified copy of same to the <br />Tax Collector so that any delinquent or current taxes can be cancelled. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Tippin, the Board <br />unanimously adopted Resolution 99-086 accepting <br />a right-of-way -dedication and cancelling certain <br />taxes upon publicly owned lands, pursuant to <br />Section 196.28, Florida Statutes (Saint Thomas <br />Fund, Inc. - 418` Street RAV). <br />AUGUST 24, 1999 <br />-38- <br />9 40 <br />
