DOOK FquE A <br />owners had no opposition, he understood they had a concern that the taxes might be <br />increased if it were rezoned to RM -6. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in <br />this matter. <br />Rene Renzi, 340 E. Waverly Place, observed there is a lot of development action <br />along Oslo Road and inquired about the certainty of an interchange at Oslo Road and I-95. <br />Director Keating explained that boththe MPO's TransportationPlan and the County's <br />Transportation Element do include an Oslo Road interchange in their long-range plans. The <br />County is currently working with a consultant who is preparing an Interchange Justification <br />Report (ITR), which is about 1/3 complete. It will probably be another 8 to 9 months before <br />it is completed and that will be the real determination as to whether there will be an <br />interchange in the near future. Depending on funding, it would probably not occur before <br />7-10 years at the earliest. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard and the Chairman closed the <br />public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Ginn absent) adopted Ordinance No. 99-024 <br />amending the Zoning Ordinance and the accompanying Zoning <br />Map from RS -6 to RM -6, for property located at the northeast <br />comer of 27 h Avenue and 1311 Street, SW (Kelly Road) and <br />further described therein, and providing for an effective date. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99-2 4 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM RS -6 TO RM -6, FOR <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 27TH AVENUE AND 13TH <br />STREET, SW (KELLY ROAD), AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />SEPTEMBER 7, 1999 <br />68 <br />
