In an effort to reduce the use of paper, we are now using 8-1/2 x 11 paper for the <br />agenda and backup materials and it made sense to him to reduce paper usage for minutes as <br />well, especially because the tapes can be referred to in order to hear the exact words used at <br />a meeting. <br />Commissioner Ginn called reducing the minutes a two-edged sword but agreed that <br />some minutes are too lengthy. I have applied for a $1000. grant from the Bureau of <br />the Census (the maximum allowed), and have every expectation that Indian <br />River County will receive the grant.
